The safe and effective mounting of the colour filter in luminaires has always been a problem ....... until now.

Current solutions include folded steel frames which are easily bent out of shape, do not firmly hold the filter around the edges and are a potential safety issue if dropped from  a height. Loading the filter is time consuming, a source of frustration to the technician.

The Grippa* Colour Frame hinges open to allow for easy mounting of the filter. When clicked closed the frame gently holds the filter evenly on all four sides. Moulded from engineering plastic the Grippa* Colour Frame is lightweight at just 70grams with rounded corners.

The Grippa* Colour Frame can be used in all Selecon luminaires that use this filter size (186 x 190mm; 7 5/16 x 7 ½”) including the 1200 range of Fresnel & PCs; Pacific 12°–28°, 14°-35° and 45°-75° Zoomspots; Pacific 90° Fixed Beam as well as other many other manufacturers' luminaires using this European industry standard size frame (please test before using/purchasing).
