Using Microsoft Excel, simply download and open the Beam Calculator and you are ready to go.

• Step 1.  Measure or estimate the throw distance from the lens to the focus location and type in the result.
• Step 2.  Make a note of the beam angle of your preferred Selecon fixture and type in the angle.
• Step 3.  The resulting beam size is then displayed.

If you don't know the direct distance from the lens to the subject, the program can calculate the throw by you inputting the horizontal and vertical measurement between the two points.

By altering the throw distance or beam angle, you can also calculate which fixture will give you the coverage you require for a specific application.

As an example:

• With a throw distance of 10.0m, the Pacific 90° will cover 20.0m making it ideal for mass gobo projection.
