Searchlights

Imperial

IMPERIAL utilises a Xenon 4000W lamp to produce a single narrow searchlight beam. The motorised reflector (PATENTED) precisely sweeps the beam through the sky, with up to 50° of pan and tilt possible. The high reflectivity optics and precision focus setting, via the adjustable lamp tray, ensure a superbly bright perfect light beam normally visible at distances of more than 20 Km.

Control features are comprehensive: six stand alone pre-set sequences are inbuilt, with control of these and pan, tilt and speed on board or full control of all functions can be achieved via 4 channels of DMX512 digital standard.

Multiple units can be operated in synchrony. Naturally, the unit is completely weatherproofed against even extreme conditions, able to withstand temperatures as low as -30°C and as high as +50°C. The steel body is zinc plated and finished in scratch resistant polyurethane paint.

Tracer MK2 - Tracer HTI

Fitted with an HMU 4000W discharge lamp, this powerful multi-beam sky tracker projects 15 beams visible from an outstanding distance, for a 28° beam aperture. Performance depends on ambient light and atmospheric conditions.

The latest development features control via standard DMX 512 signal, for a total of 4 channels, allowing accurate selection of preset beam rotation speed, scanning amplitude and scanning speed, as well as strobe and black-out functions.

Housing fully weatherproofed. Head and mount detachable from the base. Lamp timer incorporated as power factor correction system. Power supply 380V. A new model is now available , fitted with an HTI 4000W discharge lamp, which benefits of a shorter arc, giving even brighter light emission. Power supply 230-240V. Tracer HTI features head, mount and base as a single assembly for a more compact size.

Sky Rose

The popular wider angle multi-beam high power sky projector, available in HMI 1200 or 2500 lamp versions. Beam rotation speed, scanning speed and amplitude, strobe and black-out are controllable from on board controls or remotely via 0/10V controller.

As with all Griven sky-projectors, fully weatherproofed. Power factor correction on the HMI 2500 version.

Sky Eagle

Cost effective fixed angle (manually adjustable) multi-beam sky projector. On board adjustment of speed rotation.

The beam power is not compromised by the simpler facilities, due to the same high power HMI 2500 lamp as used in the Sky Rose 2500, giving visibility at great distances.

Spillo

Fixed position (manual and vertical angle adjustment) searchlight which projects a single beam which moves in a fixed angle oval arc. On board speed control and uses HMI 1200 lamp.

Highly suitable for lower budgets, particularly for fixed installation on retail shops, discotheques, cinemas etc.

Kolorado MK3 1800

KOLORADO MK3 1800, probably the most powerful outdoor colour changer of its category, is designed primarily for external architectural lighting, combining a wide angle high power flood light with the added benefits of a CYM colour changer, whereby the electronic mixing of cyan yellow and magenta dichroic filters can create virtually any desired colour, to highlight any building or structure to great effect.

But KOLORADO MK3 is equally at home indoors and its newly designed patented optical system giving a considerably greater light output, makes the unit highly suitable for television and film sets, live performances, exhibitions, etc. The unit have been fitted with a separate ballast to facilitate even further the access to its internal components.

KOLORADO MK3 can function stand alone via a selection of in-built pre-programmed colour blend sequences, with adjustable times between these, from a slow, subtle mood creating colour mix through to an exciting colour chase. Multiple units can be synchronized in this mode, with one unit acting as a master, or single or multiple units can be precisely controlled from five channels of standard DMX 512. Control set up is simplifies by the on board LED display and push button setting. The aluminium and galvanized steel body and the scratch resistant polyurethane paint are is part of a housing design, which is fully weatherproofed (IP44).

Kolorclip

Completing Griven’s pioneering range for the architectural lighting market, KOLORCLIP provides colour change in an ultra compact pressure diecast aluminium weatherproofed housing (IP55 certified) finished with scratch resistant polyurethane black finish. The newly designed IP20 version with spacious free air circulation slits designed on the front panel of the unit, embodies a bonus feature for indoor applications.

Utilizing the CDM-SA/T 150W metal halide 9000 hour lamp,

KOLORCLIP projects a bright wide 42° angle wash effect with 8 selectable colours and white, plus black-out, with in-built auto change and speed adjustment or controllable via 1 channel of DMX, and is ideal for a whole host of applications, indoor and outdoor.

Multiple units can be synchronized for an even more spectacular effect. An expansion lens and a fresnel lens are options for different beam angles.

Kolorstream

The success, on a worldwide scale, of outdoor colour changer units and the growing interest from the developing architectural lighting sector persuaded us to develop and create a new projector for long throw applications.

KOLORSTREAM was the result, and uses an HMI 2500W lamp (G38 base) and a nickel rhodium plated high reflectivity optical system with a variable angle (12° to 33° high brightness beam, with the ability to highlight buildings up to 150m high. CYM subtractive colour mixing gives many spectacular colour hues, and the detachable ballast unit, separable by up to 20m, makes the projector lighter and simpler to install and transport.

Eight factory programmed inbuilt colour sequences can be selected

and scene change duration set via on board control, for stand alone operation, and multiple units can be synchronised via the master/slave function. All functions can alternatively be controlled from standard DMX 512.

The aluminium and galvanized steel body is weatherproofed to certified IP44 rating and coated with black epoxy paint.

Kolorjet

KOLORJET is an immensely powerful outdoor colour changer with weatherproofing to a certified IP44 rating. This far advanced unit uses a Xenon 4000W lamp for an extraordinary light output which should fulfil the most demanding applications in the architectural lighting field.

The power of the lamp is enhanced by the performance of the nickel rhodium plated reflector and the CYM colour mixing system creates an almost unlimited variety of hues. These features make KOLORJET ideal for such applications as concert touring, skyscraper highlighting and movie sets, where the quality and power of a flicker free XENON lamp are required.

An electronic zoom varies the beam size, yet another feature for a unit already packed with technology and with a wide range of capabilities, and designed for absolute reliability.

On board or remote DMX512 control gives instant access to all functions, including colour mixing, frost soft edge effect, black out, strobe and stand by (reducing power and lamp consumption). Pre-programmed automatic colour sequences are also selectable and the master/slave option allows multiple units to be operated in synchrony.

Colosseo OS CYM 1000

COLOSSEO OS CYM 1000 shares the same benefits as the standard model, but with a different optical system producing a narrower beam to cover long distances such as very tall structures without problem. A manually adjustable zoom facility gives a fully variable beam angle from 17° to 32° with the obvious benefits this provides. One expansion filter is available for additional beam adjustement.

As with the standard unit, colour sequences can be selected from a pre-programmed internal controller, with multiple unit synchronisation possible, or controlled from the IP65 CYM dedicated controller, or from any DMX512 control system.

Kolorliner

KOLORLINER gives the opportunity to create colour change from a normal white light fitting and can be fitted to many units which use 1000 watt, 1800 watt or 2000 watt metal halide lamps. Its IP65 weather protection means that the Kolorliner is particularly suitable for use in exterior lighting applications.

KOLORLINER has an internal colour controller for stand alone operation, or can be controlled from any DMX512 control system. The colour mixing system with cyan, yellow and magenta dichroic filters creates virtually unlimited colour hues, coupled with smooth blends between colour changes.

KOLORLINER, offers many advantages, including the ability to easily and quickly install to an existing unit or installation, and this add on ability can be made even easier by the use of the optional wireless DMX system available for this unit.
